KV designs is a small, client centered architectural firm, located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. Our goal is to make our clients an active part of the design process and to produce responsible architecture. Our ability to communicate effectively with you, the client, allows us to successfully translate your ideas and preferences into quality architectural design. We strongly believe responsible design is a result of excellent listening skills and well-defined client goals. Our professional knowledge and experience is reflected in all of our projects. We work with a broad client base in the residential market, accessible to everyone, from high-end residences, to smaller interior renovations. We devote the utmost attention and enthusiasm to each project.

DENISE VON DASSEL
Denise has been practicing architecture for over 30 years. Establishing KV designs in 1998, she has built upon a solid foundation of hard work and dedication to achieving her client's goals.
She started her architectural career at Roger Williams University, graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1987. While attending college, she interned with several architectural firms in the Providence and Newport areas of Rhode Island. In 1987 she moved to Old Saybrook, Connecticut, where she worked for two local firms until 1998. She was involved in residential alterations and additions, high-end custom homes, handicapped accessible residential installations and light commercial projects. Denise received her Connecticut Architectural License in 1994.
